Hi Beautiful, I’m Chelsea. The heart behind Alayah & Co Beauty.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line, and honestly… for the longest time, I didn’t really know where I fit in.
I left school in Year 11 and stepped straight into the real world, starting out at Hungry Jacks. What was meant to be a just a job turned into something I committed to, eventually working my way up to management. From there I later moved through different paths, from pick packing, traffic controlling and later working as a NDIS cleaner.
Each role taught me something. Work ethic, resilience, independence… but if I’m being completely honest, none of them truly felt like me.
There was always that quiet thought in the back of my mind pulling me to beauty. It sat in the back of my mind for years. Something I thought about, something I was drawn to, but something I never fully stepped into. Life just kept moving, and I stayed in what felt familiar and safe.
Until everything changed.
Becoming a mum changed something in me. My daughter became my reason, my motivation, and my biggest inspiration. She made me look at life differently, at what I wanted for my future, the kind of life I wanted to create, the example I want to set for her, and most importantly her future.
I didn’t just want to work anymore… I wanted a purpose. A passion. I wanted something that felt like mine.
And that’s when I finally took the leap.
Alayah & Co Beauty was built from that moment. From years of feeling unsure, to finally choosing myself and the life I knew I was capable of creating. This business is more than just a service. It’s a reflection of growth, of courage, and stepping into something that once felt out of reach.
For me, this is about more than what you see on the outside. It’s about confidence, self worth, and creating a space where you can feel like the best version of yourself.
And more than anything… it’s about building a life that allows me to be present for my daughter, to provide for her, and to show her that no matter where you start, you can create something beautiful for yourself.
